The Guelph Pipe Band was founded in 1922, and in 2007 celebrated 85 years of continuous activity. The band is currently under the leadership of Pipe Major K. Bruce MacDonald, with a roster of over 30 playing pipers and drummers. There are also a number of piping and drumming students under the tutelage of Bruce MacDonald (piping), and Larry Willis and Steve Harris (drumming).
Guelph's Grade IV band was the winner of the coveted PPBSO Champion Supreme award in 2003. Please see the Events page for the most up to date listing of our activities in 2008.

The members of the Guelph Pipe Band wish to extend their sincere appreciation to the executive and members of The Colonel John McCrae branch of the Royal Canadian Legion (Branch 234) for their support throughout the years.
Band practice is every Tuesday evening at 8:00 pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 234, located at 919 York Road in Guelph, Ontario. The competition band also practices every Sunday at the Legion. New members and visitors are welcome.
